Audit your collection

Document Center does audits of Standards Collections to keep customer Standards current.

Customers often want to make sure the Standards they’re using are up-to-date prior to certification reviews. These audits cost very little compared to the time, money and the aggravation you’ll spend if your standards get written up during a review. Here’s how to proceed:

Step 1: Gather and identify all standards on premises

Please create a list of the documents you need audited. You may wish to use a spreadsheet format so that you can make this the working document for the process of gaining control of your standards.

Put the following information on the report: Document number, title, additional modifiers like amendments or errata, and the dates of each component you have. That way we’ll know exactly what you need to get each item back to complete and current status.

Step 2: Send the list to Document Center

Send the report of what you actually have to Document Center Inc. We’ll let you know the cost for an audit.

Step 3: The audit

With your authorization, Document Center staff will process the audit for you. A quote (or quotes) will generate by this audit. These will have only those items in your collection that need to be upgraded in some way. Any items not on the quotes will be “current.”

Step 4: Purchase the upgrades and get your collection back to current status.
