Document Center Inc. signs agreement with BHMA — The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association

Contract allows for paper and electronic distribution

Belmont, CA. September 15, 2002: Document Center Inc. is pleased to announce the signing of a distribution agreement with BHMA — the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association. The new licensing contract allows for distribution of the BHMA standards both in hardcopy and pdf format. BHMA documents are available through the Document Center's Silicon Valley location and its website, www.document-center.com.

The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association has been providing services to the Building community for over 75 years, with current membership of over 80% of all U.S. building hardware manufacturers. It is an active standards developer both in the U.S. and internationally.

"We are very pleased to add BHMA to our growing list of content partners," said Claudia Bach, President of Document Center Inc. "It not only improves our current capability to deliver BHMA documents to our small- and medium-sized customer base, but adds to our monitoring capability for them as well. We've found that managing our customers' standards information requirements has proven to be at the heart of the changes we have experienced since putting Document Center on the web in 1993. This agreement underscores the need for closer ties between a content distributor like Document Center and a standards developing organization like BHMA."
