Scope

This specification covers a corrosion-resistant steel in the form of bars, wire, forgings, and forging stock.

Claudia's Notes:
The new AMS 5630 Revision L removes the requirements for microinclusion rating and grain size.  It also removes conformance to AMS-2303, which means that there are changes to Acceptance Tests (Section 4.2.1) and Reports (Section 4.4).
