Scope

1.1 These test methods cover the development of laboratory test data that describe the performance of absorbent materials (and their retention ability) for use on chemical and light hydrocarbon spills.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
