Contractor Technical Information Coding of Replenishment Parts

Scope

This Standard provides a procedure for obtaining: a. Contractor technical information regarding selected parts for contractor-furnished equipment B. Identification data needed to enable the Government to acquire such parts.

MIL-STD-789C was canceled and superseded by MIL-PRF-49506, “Logistics Management Information.”  

However the Cancellation Notice cautions:
"The supersession information is valid as of the date of this notice and may be superseded by subsequent revisions of the superseding document. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application."
