This part of ISO 8320 defines terms relating to contact lens care products. Terms associated with contact lenses are defined in ISO 8320-1. It provides a list of ISO terms with their definitions and, when appropriate, the international symbol and abbreviation associated with a specific term. This part of ISO 8320 was not intended to include all the important terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations associated with contact lens care products. It is intended to be a convenient reference source, the contents of which have been compiled from the text of other International Standards applicable to manufacturing, labelling and marketing of contact lens care products.
