This International Standard establishes the vocabulary for all industrial furnaces and associated processing equipment (TPE).This International Standard provides terms and definitions which are intended to be applied to the following documents:— ISO 13577 (all parts);— IS579 (all parts).NOTE In addition to terms used in English and French (two of the three official ISO languages), this document gives the equivalent terms in Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Spanish; these are published under the responsibilities of the member bodies for China (SAC), Germany (DIN), Japan (JISC), Korea (KATS), Poland (PKN) and for Spain (AENOR), respectively, and are given for information only. Only the terms and definitions given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms and definitions.
