Scope

This specification covers temperature resistant, two component synthetic rubber compounds of the polysulfide type for sealing and repairing integral fuel tanks and fuel cell cavities, for continuous service use from -65 to +250 Degree F (-54 to 121 Degree C).

This document was originally the MIL Spec MIL-S-8802.  The DoD cancelled it's edition in the late 1990's and it was republished as AMS-S-8802 by SAE.  As you can see, there have been a number of revisions since the transfer, but the document remains valid!
