Scope
1.1 Purpose. This standard describes the general methods of sampling, examining, and testing solid propellants.
1.2 Application. Notes
Claudia's Notes:
This is a compilation of test methods for solid propellants. Changes for Revision C, interfiled with Changes 1 and 2, are noted by the use of black lines in the margins.
The test methods are numbered with 3-digit identifiers. Some tests have multiple variants (for example, carbon black has two different tests). For these the main 3-digit identifier is followed by a dot and the part number (in the example above, the two tests are 309.1 and 309.2). Then, the revision level of each individual test is identified with yet another dot and revision numeral. So for the current edition, the two carbon black tests are completely numbered 309.1.2 (2nd revision) and 309.2.2 (again, the 2nd revision).
