Abstract

Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A, Personnel Qualification and Certification in Nondestructive Testing, (2011 Edition) provides guidelines for employers to establish in-house certification programs for the qualification and certification of nondestructive testing personnel. Since 1966, employers have used this industry-valued document as the general framework for their NDT certification programs.

Your copy of SNT TC 1A comes with a copy of the ANSI/ASNT CP-105, Training Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Personnel (2011 Edition).  This is because the section “Recommended Training Course Outlines” of the previous SNT TC 1A 2001 Edition was replaced by the new CP 105.
