This standard defines the conventional method to be used to determine the watertightness ofcompletely assembled windows and doors of any materials. This test method is designed totake account of conditions in use, when the window or door is installed in accordance with themanufacturerÂ’s specification and the requirements of relevant European Standards and codesof practice.This standard does not apply to the joints between the window or door frame and the buildingconstruction.
